Description
Hillside Gardens Shelter is a viewing platform consisting of two terraces, built in a way that the larger upper terrace is concave at the front while the lower terrace is convex. The upper terrace extends outwards to create a sheltered area behind the lower terrace, making it usable during bad weather. The structure features five bays supported by concrete pillars and has large steel windows on each side.
At the front of both terraces, there is a balustrade made up of square concrete balusters topped with a broad concrete rail. The balustrade is divided into bays by concrete piers. The lower terrace has three bays of balustrading at the front, while the upper terrace has five bays that align with the pillars below, including return bays on the sides and rear.
