Description
Garnychain Farmhouse is a 2-storey, 3-window farmhouse located on a sloping site. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a renewed slate roof. The gable ends have large external stacks. The windows are replaced casements set in their original openings, which have stone segmental heads. A central porch with a monopitched roof includes a half-glazed door on its left side, and there is a small inserted window immediately to the left of the porch. The right gable end is pebble dashed. At the rear, there is a single-storey brick lean-to in the center, above which is a 3-light stair window with a wooden lintel. To the left of this window is a small replaced window, and above it is a replaced casement in the upper storey. On the right side, there is an earlier outshut covered by a catslide roof.
