Description

This is a K6-type telephone call box located on the green in Hyssington. It is a square kiosk made of cast iron and painted red. The call box features a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns above red lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds with marginal glazing bars on the horizontal glazing. The rear of the kiosk is blank, and it stands on a moulded plinth.
