Description

The sundial in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary is a tall square shaft made of freestone. Its base is hidden by vegetation, and the corners have stop-chamfered angles. The north face of the sundial is inscribed with '1663 RE PE'. At the top, there is a depression intended for a square plate and gnomon, although these parts are now missing.
