Description

A long narrow garden on a S-facing sloping site, the N wall being higher than the S wall, and the W side narrower than the E. Of embattled rubble stone walls, except the curving SW end which has no battlements and is probably earlier. The SW corner has a polygonal castellated turret, L of which is the segmental-headed doorway. This has a replaced door with vertical ribs. The internal N wall is buttressed. On its outer NE side is an added projection. A former garden terrace was built against the outer S wall.
