Description
The cart house at Gyrn Castle is constructed from coursed rubble stone with tooled stone dressings and features a slate roof. It has two cart openings with 4-centred arches, and above these are shuttered loft openings situated beneath the eaves. The right gable end includes a fixed loft light set in a wooden frame, and below this is a corrugated iron canopy that is attached to a later stable range, which is positioned at a right angle to the cart house. The rear of the building is connected to a rubble stone wall and has two small openings with lintels.
