Description

The cart-house located to the south of the former blacksmith's shop dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is a single-storey structure built from small rubble with a slate roof and projecting eaves. On the left side, there is an elliptically-headed cart entry featuring dressed stone voussoirs, although the doors are missing. To the right, there is a window with a flat stone voussoired head and a six-light casement. At the rear, there is a lean-to made of rubble. This cart-house, along with the adjacent smithy, forms an attractive roadside group.
