Description

The former blacksmith's shop is a single-storey building dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed from rubble and features a slate roof. On the right side, there is a dressed stone chimney stack with stone tabling. The doorway, also on the right, has a cambered head made of stone voussoirs and is fitted with a divided stable-type boarded door. There are two windows to the right of the doorway, which have similar heads made of stone voussoirs. Both windows have later 9-pane casements with top-hung upper lights. Together with the adjacent cart-house, this building forms an attractive roadside group.
