Description

This is a former blacksmith's shop, now a workshop, dating from the 18th or early 19th century. The building is constructed of random rubble with a pantiled roof. It is a single-story structure with four irregular bays. A boarded two-leaf door is located in the second bay. There is a small window to the left and two windows of a blacksmith’s type to the right. The steeply-pitched gabled roof has a small brick end stack on the right. Attached to the rear is a second forge, similar in style but slightly later in date.
