Description

The Post Office is a single-storey, flat-roofed brick building featuring a symmetrical shop facade. It has a castellated parapet with coped crenellations, with the central crenellation stepped up. Below this, there is a rectangular moulded frame that contains the incised name "Hawarden Post Office." The eastern parapet displays the date 1907. The building is adorned with a moulded and dentilated cornice, a wooden flagpole, and a contemporary blind-box. The central entrance consists of recessed double doors with glazed upper panels, and the structure includes a moulded brick plinth and stone cills.
