Description
2 and 2A Upper Clwyd Street are part of a group of buildings. No 2 is on the right and includes a cross-wing facing St Peter's Square, while No 2A is on the left.
The building is a three-window range with one-and-a-half storeys and a short cross-wing. It is rendered, primarily over timber-framing, and has a slate roof with a tall stone chimney at the junction of the main range and the cross-wing. The central door, which is a 20th-century half-glazed panelled door leading to a flat above, is situated under a flat moulded porch canopy supported by brackets. There are late 20th-century shop fronts on either side of the door. The upper storey features wooden cross-windows with top-hung lights beneath gabled half-dormers.
No 2A has a late 20th-century shop front with a glazed door on the right and a plain-glazed window on the left. The interior has not been seen.
