Description
Bryn Disgwylfa is a large three-storey town house constructed with roughcast over a mix of rubble and brick, featuring stucco quoins, architraves, and sill-courses, all dating from around 1900. The house has a slate roof with simple brick end chimneys. Its symmetrical three-bay facade includes a central entrance with an open canopy porch supported by slim cast iron columns. The entrance features a four-panel door topped by a three-pane rectangular overlight. The ground and first floors have flush 12-pane modern windows that imitate sash windows, while the top floor has a similar six-pane window on the right and a blind 12-pane casement on the left. All windows have cambered heads with lugged stucco architraves, projecting sills, and keystones. There is a partial later outshut at the rear. To the left of the entrance, a modern plaque notes that Thomas Jones (1756-1820) lived here.
