Description
The Shoe 'B' Doo Shoe Shop is a large three-storey corner building dating from the 19th century. It features two-bay facades that face the High Street to the south and Crown Square to the east. The building is constructed of brick, showcasing a counter-changed pattern in brown and buff brick, and has stuccoed lintels. It is topped with a hipped slate roof and has a simple brick chimney. The upper floors project over the piazza, supported by three octagonal stone columns with broader bases. The shop front is modern, while the windows consist of plain four-pane Victorian sashes with stuccoed, flat-arched lintels. There is also a small multi-pane attic light located under the eaves on the Crown Square elevation, and the oversailing eaves are finished with simple moulded stucco.
