Description
Kavick's Bazaar is a three-storey building, currently consisting of two bays. It is constructed of red brick with a timber-framed core and features a slate roof. The building has stone quoins, projecting sills, and keystones, all of which are painted, with ashlared stucco applied over the brick. The ground floor includes modern shop windows, while the upper floors project over the pavement and are supported by three Tuscan stone columns.
On the first floor, there is a tripartite window from the late 18th century or early 19th century, which has a segmentally-arched design and features a near-flush central sash section with 12 panes (unhorned) and narrow flanking sections with 4 panes each. The second floor contains two 12-pane sash windows, similar to those on the first floor, also with segmental heads. The building has simply-moulded coping on a low parapet, which it shares with the adjacent building to the left, Beresford Adams Estate Agents.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
