Description
B Wise is a three-storey building made of brick with a slated roof and simple end chimneys. The facade is symmetrical with three bays and features scribed stucco on the upper floors. The ground floor has a simple 20th-century shop window with a recessed central entrance and an additional entrance to the left, which includes a four-panel door with a rectangular overlight. The shop front is enhanced by flanking Victorian panelled pilasters that have large consoles above and a plain fascia.
The upper floors maintain their original glazing: the first floor has three 12-pane unhorned sash windows with moulded plaster surrounds and moulded labels supported by scrolled brackets, while the second floor features three 9-pane sashes with similar moulded surrounds. The facade is bordered by narrow flat pilasters that support a moulded, oversailing cornice. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
