Description

This war memorial is a sculptural piece standing approximately 4 meters high, surrounded by modern railings and bollards. It features a life-sized bronze figure of winged Peace holding the Wreath of Glory. The figure is mounted on a square, two-stage limestone plinth, which has a moulded and dentilated cornice and a wider lower section. Bronze plaques and wreaths are affixed to the sides of both stages. The plinth is chamfered, and it has a plain base with shaved corners.
