Description
The agricultural range at Llwyn Isa is a collection of multi-purpose farm buildings situated on rising ground. Constructed from rubble masonry, the buildings feature a slate roof with a tile ridge and include a short forward return wing at each end. The main range has a large heck-door on the left side, along with four additional doors and one window. Above these, there are two granary doors with raking dormers, and timber lintels are used throughout.
The left wing includes a first unit with a roof that is level with the main range. This unit has a window positioned below the eaves and another granary door with a raking dormer, located at the top of a flight of stone steps. Below this is a large cartshed opening, which features a very large timber lintel but is partly blocked by later stonework. The left wing continues with a double-width cartshed.
The right wing contains a cartshed whose roof apex aligns with the eaves of the main range. This wing ends with a pigsty that is accessed from the gable end, where there are two small walled yards.
