Description
Llwyn Isa is a large two-storey house built in red brickwork, featuring a double-depth design and three windows, set on a raised podium above a terraced lawn and facing southeast. The main part of the house, possibly with a later rear wing and a smaller side wing to the northwest, is constructed in English Garden Wall bond. The front elevation has stone quoins, and the upper section is adorned with yellow bricks at intervals. The roofs are covered with slate and have tile ridges, with a moderate overhang at the eaves and verge, and a roof light in the rear wing. Two chimneys rise from the roof of the main range.
The front elevation is symmetrical, featuring 16-pane double casement windows both above and below. The gable elevations also have similar windows on the first storey, along with 12-pane attic windows. On either side of the main range, there are timber verandahs with low pitch lean-to hip roofs; one of these verandahs, which covers French windows, is likely contemporary, while the other may be modern. The French windows are designed with Gothic intersecting glazing bars. All windows are topped with lintels or arches, which are faced by steeply pitched common-brick flat-arches. The main entrance door is hidden behind a later brickwork porch.
