Description

Efail-y-plas Bridge is a single segmental arch bridge that spans the River Clwyd, measuring approximately 15 metres in length. The bridge is constructed from axe-dressed rubble stonework, featuring a projecting course on the outer curve of the arch and at the base of the parapets. The stones used for the arch are varied in depth, with deeper stones positioned at the abutments and shallower stones at the crown of the arch. The low parapets, which are about 5 metres apart, are topped with thin flat coping stones.
