Description
Bryn Cwnin Farmhouse is a 19th-century brick building with a hipped slate roof and axial stacks, designed in a square plan over two storeys. The entrance front faces north and features a three-window range with a central entrance hall. The entrance includes an eight-panelled door, which has been modified to include glazing in two panels, set within an architrave supported by long brackets that carry an entablature hood, all framed by a segmental archway. The windows are 16-pane hornless sashes with stone sills and flat arched stone heads, and there is a dentilled eaves band.
The west elevation is distinguished by two full-height recessed arches, each containing wide four-pane sash windows with flat arched gauged brick heads on both floors. The south elevation features an advanced central bay with a pediment, which is topped by a chimney. This elevation has 12-pane sash windows at varying heights on the ground floor, a continuous sill band on the first floor, and one blind window to the left.
