Description
Berwyn Railway Station is a pale brick building featuring black and white detailing above the ground floor at the west end, primarily serving as the stationmaster's house. It has a fishscale tiled slate roof and a brick chimney set diagonally to the left, along with casement windows. The platform side consists of four bays, with a single-storey section on the left and a two-storey gabled bay that advances to the right. The gable on the left is above a splayed bay window, and another gable is positioned over the deep bracketed hood at the entrance to the Ladies waiting room. There is a squared oriel window on the first floor to the right, featuring a quatrefoil panelled apron and a swept roof. At the extreme right end, a lean-to structure wraps around to connect with the two-storey and attic stationmaster's house at the southwest corner. The east side has panelled black and white decoration and an attic gablet. A similarly styled gabled hood for the waiting room entrance steps down to the right, and the east gable end has two windows. On the platform, there are two Great Western Railway benches.
