Description
This building is a two-storey rubble structure located on the northwest side of the Home Farmyard, featuring yellow brick dressings around the arches and red brick dressings from later alterations. The slate roof is equipped with four conical ventilators, skylights, and a gable parapet on the left side.
In the center, there are three tall, semicircular arched cart openings; the one on the right has been infilled with small pane glazing above a boarded door, alongside a two-light casement window. Above each arch, there is a narrow window with a central metal bar. To the right of the arches, there are two boarded doors, with the right-hand door being a later addition. On the left side, there is a high hopper window and an 'office' window below it with a small opening. Near the corner with the dairy and food-store range, there is a doorway with a tall overlight.
The low rear elevations are due to the rise in ground level. At the right-hand end, there is a narrower and lower red brick extension featuring a slate clock face on the gable end and cambered openings.
