Description
The Former Laundry at Corwen Manor, part of the original workhouse complex built in 1837, was likely used as a laundry from the beginning. The building is constructed from whitewashed roughly coursed and squared stone, topped with slate roofs, and features the remains of two axial stacks. It is a high single-storey range with a two-storey cross wing to the south. The façade includes two windows and two doors, which are stepped in height to follow the slope of the site. There is a doorway and a window next to it in the upper storey of the gabled cross-range, which is accessed from the higher ground to the south of the site.
