Description

The Railway Overbridge, located to the west of Llangollen Station, is a round arched bridge made of red brick, featuring impost bands and voussoirs. The bridge has a high parapet that is raised at both ends, which terminates in gate piers.

Ramped paths lead downwards from the bridge, with battered embankment walls that taper down to the east and include wooden handrails. The outer embankment walls curve down and outwards, creating low borders for the excursion platforms.
