Description

The bridge south of the mill, built in the early 19th century, is a small-arched structure featuring deep side walls raised to parapet level. On the south side, the wall is straight with a buttress at the edge of each bank. The north side also has a straight wall across the opening, but it curves outwards beyond that. The parapet extends westward on the south side, while the east side has a lower parapet topped with wrought iron railings. The bridge is constructed of red brickwork in English bond.
