Description
The Mill House, built around 1770, is a two-storey building featuring four windows. It has a red tile hipped roof with red brick dentil eaves on a projecting band. The front wall is constructed with a blue header band and has rubbed red flat arches, returning in Flemish bond with a plinth. The sash windows are set in exposed frames. The central doorway is wide and has coarse detailing, featuring a pediment on coupled pilasters. It includes an oval arch with a fanlight above a six-panelled door, four of which are glazed. At the rear, there is an early 19th-century extension that has a low-pitched slate roof and a porch with oval arches leading to the doorway and coupled windows.
