Description
This is an 18th-century two-story, two-window house situated on the south side of Botley Fareham Road, formerly located 30 yards east of Church Lane. The house is built with a red tile roof and walls of Flemish bond brickwork, featuring red stretchers and blue headers, with red rubbed flat arches and stone cills. The windows are sash windows set in reveals. A prominent doorcase features a full Doric order on three-quarter columns with fluted tops, an open pediment incorporating swags in relief above an arched doorway, and a fanlight.
