Description

This is an 18th-century block of two buildings with gables facing south. The building is two storeys high with three windows visible from the front. The facade suggests the northern section may be slightly later in construction. The roof is tiled in red, and the walls are constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, incorporating blue headers. A band of brick projects at the eaves level along the gables and at the level of the first floor. The window openings are cambered. The windows are diamond casements, with blank windows incorporated into the gable and above one doorway, likely representing former sash windows. The entrance to number 2 is a plain door, while number 4 has a porch. The building is a prominent feature of the streetscape.
