Description
The Kings Arms Public House is a two-storey inn built in an L-shape, constructed of rubble with the primary rear section whitened and the later front section pebbledashed. It features slate roofs. On the southwest side of the primary range, there is a projecting rubble lateral chimney, along with 19th-century end chimneys on the three gable ends.
The street-facing range has a former entrance that is off-centre to the left, which has an arched stucco head and keystone, though it is now a plain two-pane window. There are sash windows on both the left and right returns, featuring plain lower sections but retaining small pane glazing in the upper sections. The right return window is accompanied by a pair of larger windows at the west corner, facing the front, which have 20th-century glazing with plain lower sections and three panes above.
On the first floor, there are two 12-pane 19th-century sashes, along with another similar window in the gable, all with moulded stucco surrounds. The earlier rear range includes two 12-pane sashes on the first floor, with a modern small-pane casement to the left.
