Description
80 Mostyn Street is a two-storey shop with an attic, featuring a two-window front. The building has a slate roof and a stucco façade. It includes two gabled dormers in the attic with sash glazing. A cornice with toothing runs along the top, and there is a continuous stringcourse on the second floor that rises above the windows to create square-headed dripstones, forming a triangular shape between the windows. On the second floor, there are two square-headed sash windows with quoined architraves. The first floor has a segmental-headed sash window on the right with a moulded head and flanking columns, topped with a cornice. To the left, there is a canted three-light bay window with segmental-headed lights, flanking columns, and a toothed cornice. The ground floor features a modern shopfront with a deep fascia board, above which is a group of 19th-century iron panels and cresting related to "Edward Owen & Sons, Purveyors of Meat...", along with the lettering "Breeders", "Farmers", "Purveyors".
