Description
The agricultural range at Gwyndy Uchaf is an L-plan structure, likely built in the early 19th century, made of whitened rubble with slate roofs. The upper section features a single-storey stable block, which is connected at right angles to a barn that includes a granary above animal accommodation. The stable block has a boarded doorway flanked by square windows, and to the right, there is a large boarded entrance that reaches up to the eaves. The barn and granary section, positioned at right angles, features a cambered-headed barn doorway, a rectangular doorway with a window to the left, and another doorway with a square window to the right. Above this area, there is a larger window for the granary. The right gable end has stone stairs leading up to the granary doorway.
Inside the barn section, there is a timber-framed partition made of lightly-scantled timbers, which include an unsquared tie-beam and tall raking struts.
