Description
Nos 1 and 3 Mostyn Street in Llandudno is a late 19th-century stucco building that houses shops with accommodation above. It stands three storeys tall with an attic, featuring a slate roof and gabled dormers. The windows are camber-headed with sash glazing, and the building has a modillion and dentil eaves cornice.
The elevation facing Vaughan Street consists of three bays, while the Mostyn Street side has one bay. There is a canted corner bay with quoins at the angles. The Vaughan Street elevation includes paired windows in the centre bay, with first-floor windows set in deep surrounds that have keystones and cornices. The corner bay features similar glazing. The Mostyn Street elevation has a single bay with paired windows on the top floor and a semi-circular bay window on the first floor. The ground floor contains shop fronts.
A verandah supported by iron columns with slightly bulbous panelled bases, capitals, and spandrils features a modern lean-to corrugated roof.
