Description
Grosvenor Court is a former pair of buildings now combined into one block, dating from the 19th century. It stands three storeys high, plus an attic and a basement. The façade features sash glazing and has a six-window front, with smooth render and a slate mansard roof that includes brick chimneys and a dentil cornice. Each half of the building is symmetrical with three windows.
At the attic level, there is a single-light dormer flanked by two-light dormers. The second floor has a single-light window flanked by paired windows. On the first floor, there is a central round-headed sash window with pilasters on either side and a cornice above. Each side of the building features a splayed bay window that descends to the basement level, with sash glazing, although the centre of the ground floor has been replaced.
Steps lead up to a central doorway that is flanked by columns, and there is a modern door. A balustraded dwarf wall encloses the basement area.
