Description
The King's Arms Public House is a two-storey building with an attic, featuring a front elevation divided into two bays. Each bay has a gable adorned with mock half-timbering and displays the date 1898 within the panelling. The attic storey includes two transomed three-light windows. The first floor is faced with dressed stone and features two transomed three-light canted oriel bay windows that have curved transoms, along with a small moulded canopy above. The ground floor showcases an elaborate public house front from the late 19th or early 20th century, which includes a fascia board inscribed with "The King's Arms." In the centre, there is a window with transoms, coloured glass in the upper lights, and engraved glass in the lower panes. The stall-riser is faced with mosaic, and stained glass above the window extends to the sides over recessed doorways, which include a half-glazed door on the left and a panelled door on the right.
