Description
The Old Toll House is a single-storey cottage dating from an unspecified period. It features pebble-dashed walls painted white and a slate roof with plastered eaves. A central stone stack, which was heightened in the 20th century with brick, is also present. The entrance, located to the left of the center, has a replacement fielded-panel door. The windows are 6-pane horned sashes, and the gable ends have blocked windows.
At the rear, there is a central wing facing Morfa Drive. This wing has a replacement panel door and features 6-pane horned sashes, with one window in a splay to the right and another in a lean-to to the left. The lean-to, which has been added, has a felt roof. The asymmetrical gable end of the wing includes a 2-light small-pane casement window.
