Description
This is a pair of semi-detached cottages located at Glan-y-mor Elias in Llanfairfechan. They are constructed with roughcast render and feature a steeply pitched graded slate roof that has a double pitch, sweeping back over a ground floor extension. The cottages share a central stepped chimney stack made of brick.
The front elevation faces the lane and includes centrally grouped dormers at the eaves, with half of them set in the raking roof slope. There are two ground floor windows that have cambered heads. The entrance facades are located on the sides of the cottages, which are three storeys tall, with doors set in shallow recessed porches that have pointed arches. On the first floor at the front, there is a narrow small-pane window, and at the rear, a broad camber-headed small-pane casement. The second floor features a single narrow small-pane window.
The cottages are set within stone-walled gardens, with a large enclosure to the northwest surrounded by a fence made of irregular pieces of blue slate quarry waste, approximately one metre high, tied together with wire.
