Description

Gorsefield is a pair of two-storey semi-detached houses located at West Shore, Llanfairfechan. The walls are finished in rough-cast render painted white, and the roofs are covered with small violet-blue slates interspersed with groups of three grey-green slates. The houses feature a tall shared central chimney stack, along with a chimney at each end of the ridge.

The front elevation showcases two forward-facing gables with double-pitched roofs that extend down to the ground floor at each end. Each gable has a broad window on the first floor, and between the gables are hipped dormer bedroom windows, with similar windows in the roof slopes at each end of the pair. The roof slopes down to create a porch supported by braced wooden posts, which houses a door and a broad casement window for each house. Additionally, there is a broad casement window in the ground floor of each gable.

The rear of the houses has a similar design but lacks a porch. Notably, Talfor has an additional single-storey wing that extends at right angles.
