Description
Bronrardd is a two-storey house built of grey stone with a slate roof that features bands of purple and grey. The building has brick courses under the eaves and brick string courses. It has end chimneys that are corbelled out. The entrance front faces west, with a cross-gable to the right that includes a 2-light wooden casement window on the first floor and a 3-light mullioned and transomed window on the ground floor. To the left, there is a dormer window on corbels that is partly above the eave on the first floor, and a mullioned and transomed window on the ground floor. The porch has a lean-to roof supported by wooden posts. The windows feature heavy pale granite lintels and slate sills. The gable end to the left (south) has stepped bricks beneath the overhanging eaves and a small window to the left of the chimney with heavy corbels. The north gable is similar and has a date-stone marked ‘1861’. The rear of the house has a single window on the first floor, a square-headed doorway, and two windows on the ground floor.
At the rear, there is a rubble wall with heavy copings and a Gothic-arched entrance topped with a gable and a fleur-de-lis. An outbuilding with a tall brindled brick chimney stack is attached to the wall in the rear yard.
