House and Private Adult Shop

This building is a house and private adult shop that stands three storeys high with an attic, forming part of a range with 3-4 Lancaster Square. The front is finished in scribed roughcast, painted cream, and topped with a slate roof featuring roughcast stacks. On the ground floor, there are transomed plate-glass shop windows on either side of a central recessed glazed shop door, which is topped with an overlight. To the left, there is a fielded-panel house door, also recessed and under an overlight. The fascia that once extended across the entire front has been removed.

On the first floor, there is a tripartite 4-pane horned sash window, flanked by panelled pilasters, an entablature, and a central pediment, which replaced an original oriel window. The second floor features two 4-pane horned sash windows with moulded architraves, set on a sill band that continues from Nos 3 and 4. The central attic window has a similar architrave and consists of paired 4-pane sashes, situated under a gable adorned with fretwork barge boards and a finial.

The rear of the building has altered windows and a ground-floor extension. The property has not been inspected.
