Description
The Telford Milestone is a historic milestone made of dressed Anglesey limestone. It features a shallow triangular head and raking chamfered sides. An inset cast iron plate is attached, displaying white lettering on a black background that reads: HOLY- / HEAD / 57 / CERNIOGE / 3M - 2F / CORWEN / 9M – 6F. In 2018, the plate was damaged and becoming detached from the stone, prompting the Highways Agency to temporarily remove it for reinstatement.
