Description

The potato store or root house at Hendre Arddwyfaen is a small structure featuring a segmentally vaulted chamber that is partly cut into the rock. It is located opposite the corner of the farmhouse. The chamber measures 2.1 meters by 2.1 meters and has a height of 1.54 meters at the crown of the shallow barrel vault. The back of the chamber is rock cut, while the front has a single door opening.
