Description

The Telford Milestone is made of dressed Anglesey limestone and features a shallow triangular head with raking chamfered sides. It has a cast iron inset plate with white lettering on a black background that reads: HOLY- / HEAD / 40 / C. CURIG / 5 Furlongs / CERNIOGE / 13M – 6F. This milestone has been moved about 10 meters east from its original location.
