Description
The former stable block at Bodysgallen Farm is a single-storey building with a loft, constructed from rubble stone featuring larger light-grey quoins and a slate roof. The structure was originally symmetrical, with one-storey gabled projections set back against the gable ends. The projection on the right side has been raised to two storeys and includes dressed sandstone quoins.
The openings throughout the building have replacement windows and doors. In the center, there is a wood-lintelled half-glazed door, flanked by two-light casement windows. Above this, the central two-light window was originally a loft doorway. To the right, there are superimposed doorways, with the upper doorway accessed by concrete steps that are built against the wall and feature a wooden rail. Further to the right, there is a two-light window in the lower storey beneath a stone lintel. The left projection has a boarded door and a two-light casement window to its left, located under the eaves.
At the rear, there is a blocked doorway in the lower right and a nine-pane sash window in the upper center. On the left side, a vertical joint indicates that the projection has been raised in height, and there is a sash window below the eaves. The rubble stone walls incorporate stone arches and are attached at both ends. The building has not been inspected.
