Description
The barn at Rhiwaedog Farm is a large, single-storey agricultural building constructed from rubble masonry and topped with a slate roof. Originally, it featured evenly spaced doorways along the southeast elevation, but currently, there is a blocked doorway at the left end and a widened opening towards the centre, which is partially hidden by a modern breeze block addition. Both gable ends still have their original ventilation slits, with the southwest gable also having a window cut into it at ground floor level. The rear wall is mostly concealed by a modern animal shelter, but it seems to have some widened openings. This structure is likely an 18th-century cowhouse that has undergone alterations and additions in the 20th century.
