Description
The barn at Rhiwerfa is a 19th-century structure built from coursed slate rubble on boulder foundations, topped with a slate roof that features raised gables. It has opposed small central cartways with ashlar blue slate lintels, one of which is now blocked on the north side. There are two tiers of slit ventilation openings on each side of the barn, along with three additional openings in the end gable. At the upper (west) end, there are four inconspicuous roof lights. The barn was not accessible at the time of inspection.
