Description
The agricultural range at Rhiwaedog Farm is a lofted linear structure, likely serving as a lofted cowhouse, barn, and stables. It is constructed from roughly coursed masonry, featuring large stones as quoins and lintels, topped with a slate roof. The main facade faces the farmyard and farmhouse to the south, showcasing seven evenly spaced doorways along its length. To the right of the fourth doorway, there is a loft doorway that disrupts the eaves lines beneath a raking dormer roof. To the right, two shuttered windows are positioned under the eaves, while to the left, there are three narrow ventilation slits. The western gable includes a pitching door, and there is a single-storey brick addition against the eastern gable. Additionally, a modern shed has been constructed against the rear wall.
Inside, the cowhouse at the western end of the range retains timber partitions. An earlier listing description notes the presence of a tie-beam roof with struts.
