Description
The barn at Rhydyddauddwr Farm is part of a U-shaped farmstead that includes a farmhouse, stable, cowhouse range, and shelter shed. It likely dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The structure is built of brick and has a slate roof. It is two storeys high, featuring a wide central double door and a narrower rear doorway directly opposite. There are vents in the right-hand bay and a square loft entry to the right, above the doorway. An external staircase is located against the left-hand bay, leading to an upper doorway and a blocked segmentally arched window. In the gable wall, there are two arcaded segmental arches designed for a cartshed. The central bay of the barn is divided by brick partition walls, with a segmental archway that leads into the storage bays.
