Description

Oernant is a building constructed from grey rubble masonry and features hipped slate roofs. It is an open fronted haybarn with three square-headed bays, supported by square stone piers that hold up the hipped roof. At each end of the barn, there are lower sheds with hipped roofs; the left shed has a broad cartshed-type doorway, while the right shed has a square-headed doorway. At the rear of the barn, there is a larger cattle shelter that continues under the slope of the barn roof, with a single window set at the eaves in the northwest wall. The building is surrounded by separate yards enclosed by boulder-built dry-stone walls.
