Description

The pigsties at Pen-Y-Bont Farm date from the 19th century and feature a standard 'in and out' design. They include inner covered sleeping areas and small yards. The building has a double pitch slate roof, with the front slope facing the house and yard, which is lower than the rear slope over the doors to the covered accommodation. The walls are built from local stone, and there are boundary walls enclosing the small yards.
