Description
Pen-Y-Bont Farmhouse is an L-shaped farmhouse with its entrance front facing northeast. The building is robustly constructed in rubble, which is coursed and squared at the front. It features a thin slate roof that overhangs the eaves and has barge boards, along with rectangular stone chimneys at each end and an additional chimney on the gable end of the southwest wing.
On the first floor, there are three windows: a small central window flanked by larger windows, all of which have horned sash glazing. The ground floor includes a central doorway with a steeply gabled porch and flanking sash windows. At the rear, there are 6-pane casement windows, and in the angle between the two blocks, there is a small open porch with a lean-to roof that covers the doorway.
Additionally, there is a one-storey boilerhouse with a chimney located at the rear of the house.
